With an unfinished script and only one week to put everything together, Oz casts his girlfriend, Penelope 'Pen' Moore as his leading lady and the talented Kent Graham as her opposite. Together they will attempt to shape history and impact the hearts of their generation with the profoundly innovative and provocative tale of a couple in… BEFORE WE CLOSE! * Hosted by the George Lin Memorial Foundation * Produced & Filmed entirely in San Diego * World Premiere

A week before the birth of his first child in Mexico, Manuel learns his long-lost father is about to be executed in Texas. Against his wife's wishes he heads north, abandoning his job cleaning peep-show booths, hoping the trip will buy him time and insight into his upcoming responsibility. CRUZANDO is a road-trip tale about friendship, fatherhood, and self-discovery that winds itself through the distinct culture of the Texas-Mexico border. Mistaken identities, family traumas, and dehydration complicate Manuel's quest, but he finally learns a familiar lesson: There's no place like home - even if home is not all that great. * "WINNER" Audience Choice Awards - San Antonio & Seattle Film Festival * 'Official Selection' - 6 International Film Festivals
